SUMMARY:Eleusinia 2025 Ritual
DESCRIPTION:As the wheel of the year turns and the Autumnal Equinox brings shorter days and longer nights\, we gather together to celebrate the harvest. The fields are full of the bounty of the labors of the folk who tend them\, and we gather together to honor the Kindreds who aided have aided us. \nThis year\, we will focus our attention on Greek Eleusinian Mysteries\, which provide agricultural context to the journey of Persephone into the Underworld as she returns to her chthonic role as queen of the dead. We will also honor Dionysos\, who the Orphics viewed as a dying and reborn god and also has significant agricultural associations. \nThis rite will be in-person\, and is free and open to all of good will who are aligned with the purpose of the rite.
